Our list this week points to an increasingly blue Nevada.

Winners

Losers

Dina Titus

With a poll saying she's up 9 points and Pelosi coming to town for a fundraiser, she continues to trend in the right direction.

Jon Porter

His counter to Titus' poll is one of his own saying it's too close to call. That's not a very strong message.

Barack Obama

His demeanor in reaction to the financial sector meltdown this week was cool, confident and presidential. McCain was scattered.

Jim Gibbons

Cutting her security detail seems like a really stupid move in retrospect, doesn't it?

The Democrats

The financial sector is in a freefall, and the headlines read about working families losing their retirement while golden parachutes protect greedy executives. The Dems could not have written message this strong.

The GOP

The Palin rise has now leveled off, McCain seems old and erratic, and the economy continues to weaken. All signs point to a Democratic sweep.

Identity of Wally Edge

It is confirmed, Wally IS Harry Reid...who else is dumb enough to write this trash? Titus is helped by Nancy Pelosi coming to town? Dems win, GOP loses?? Look Even Bubba Bill Clinton is throwing the Dems under the bus on this economic crisis. The jig is about up for the Dems. They are playing politics with the bailout package, they are the majority, they could pass this thing if they wanted, the Republicans are fighting for capitalism and a free market, fighting for us. The polls reflect McCain's gaffes of last week, he has seized control now and is forcing the action and those Clinton comments are sure to become a commercial....sorry Harry, you guys are done....

C'mon Lee...lets deal with facts....

Lee,
Here you guys go just making things up and pulling them out of your ass. The one who played politics with the bailout was John Sydney McCain III, who ended up sabotaging what all parties agreed was a rough compromise. McBush landed in Washington promising leadership, but the fact he didnt have a plan or even state his position on the plans offered show that he really was just trying to avoid the debate and take attention away from sagging poll numbers. As far as Jon Porter, he can run as many negative ads as he wants. The people of CD3 knows what he has done for them in his time in Washington: support big oil (which helped raise gas prices), provide NO leadership on foreclosure problem, support privitazation of Social Security, etc. He can pull votes out of Titus' record, but the people know she is not an enemy of education (duh, shes an educator Jon) and her tax record is very similar to state Republicans (Chuck Muth said last session she was MORE conservative than Republican leader Raggio!!!) You guys are going down, and it is so funny to watch you squirm and try to present ideas democrats have proposed for years as your own (ie. green jobs, regulation). Voters are not as stupid as you guys believe, especially after getting duped by Bush and Gibbons. They are ready to kick Jon Porter's sorry, do nothing ass out and all his sorry Republican cronies with him. Later Jonny boy.
