Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-Sparks) made USA Today for something other than a scandal. If he keeps this up he may just make it back to the winner's list this Friday.

The U.S. Forest Service predicted that there was a 2% chance that a rural wildfire could escape the wilderness. The fire is now within 4 miles of the town of Jarbidge and is only 30% contained. The fire has grown from 13 square miles to 76 square miles.
