Gibbons critical of Forest Service in Jarbidge blaze

Yes, there are news stories this week that have words other than Gustav, Hanna and convention.

Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-Sparks) made USA Today for something other than a scandal. If he keeps this up he may just make it back to the winner's list this Friday.

For the lazy:

The U.S. Forest Service predicted that there was a 2% chance that a rural wildfire could escape the  wilderness.  The fire is now within 4 miles of the town of Jarbidge and is only 30% contained.  The fire has grown from 13 square miles to 76 square miles.
