Fresh back from a family vacation to see the world's largest ball of twine, Anjeanette Damon has the ball on new polling numbers that show that the Heller/Derby race is closer than we think, and that the Governor has been creeping up in the approval ratings. This is no doubt as a direct result of being listed in the "Winners" column of my Winners & Losers Friday staple.
For the lazy:
Derby is within five points of Heller in a Reno Gazette-Journal poll of 400 likely voters. It's a stunning number considering that no media has started in the district.
In a statewide sample of 600 voters, the Gibbons approval rating is now up to a whopping 31 percent.
We're still new, Governor, so there was only so much I could do in three weeks. Keep away from the press (and the Rodeo, and the...) and forward this to your friends. Your approval ratings will climb as more of Nevada gets hooked on Politicker.
