If you aren't lazy, find real numbers at the Clark County website, the Washoe County website, and the Secretary of State's website.
Primary condensed soup for the lazy:
James Smack gave U.S. Rep. Dean Heller (R-Carson City) a scare by stealing away over 11% of the vote.
John Hambrick smoked Dr. Jack Surpure more than 2-1 for the AD-2 nod even with ridiculous anonymous negative mail dropped into the district demonizing Hambrick.
Asy. Bob Beers (R-Henderson) and Asy. Francis O. Allen (R-Las Vegas) were both sacked by primary voters, proving the old addage "you can't get elected after stabbing your husband with a steak knife." No steak knife issues for Beers, people just figured out that he is not that other Bob Beers.
Brian Scroggins survived the "vote for Woodbury anyway" robo-calls to get the GOP nod for County Commission this fall.
In the North, state Senate Majority Leader Bill Raggio (R-Reno) fended off a challenge from the right by former Assemblywoman and Congressional candidate Sharron Angle. His six point win was described as a "squeaker" by the Reno Gazette-Journal. Six points in a primary is not quite a squeaker, but it is not the landslide that many expected.
Finally, Northern Nevada stalwart Asy. John Marvel (R-Battle Mountain) was unseated by former Asy. Don Gustavson. This was a shocker as the anti-establishment vote was expected to be split between Gustavson and rabble-rouser Mike Weber.
