Lorenzo Fertitta now fighting full-time

Lorenzo Fertitta is leaving Station Casinos to work full time with the UFC. Yahoo! news has the story here.

For the lazy: Frank Fertitta will still run Station Casinos, but Lorenzo is going to UFC full-time to take the brand worldwide. He is now talking in terms of the 350 million men in India who are in their target age range for new audience members but have never had the pleasure of having Mr. Fertitta introduce them to the UFC.

Many will drop their jaws in disbelief that Lorenzo Fertitta would walk away from the number two highest paid casino job that fetched over $113 million last year alone. Just think about having the Megabucks jackpot as your average paycheck on the first and fifteenth of every month, and you decide to hang it up and go to the UFC.

This is not Lorenzo Fertitta leaving Station Casinos as much as it is the Fertitta brothers moving into "divide and conquer mode." And it will probably work because these brothers avere il fegato.
