Most of us are prepared to do our duty for the economy and run out and spend that $300 tax rebate on shoes or a fancy dinner.
Kenneth Wegner is taking a different approach. In this year of the Democratic groundswell, he is going up early on TV against Berkley. And this is in a district where he only has to find 60,000 Democrats who will cross party lines to support him to win.
With "700 commercials a week" coming out on cable, he's up earlier than anyone else in the congressional races, and there is no doubt that he is going above and beyond in doing his part for economic stimulus.
But Berkley campaigns every year like she's ten points down. She actually seems to enjoy going around to all of the constituent meetings, VA Hospital visits and local fairs that most in politics will only go to if threatened. Berkley seems to actually like these things.
No need to handicap this one. 700 cable spots or not, in a year like this Wegner will be lucky to keep the loss to only the registration difference.
Mr. Wegner, great show of support for the economy. But this is one of those districts that Berkley could win from a beach in the South Pacific. And on top of that, she's right back home, running full speed ahead as if she's got someone hot on her trail.

NO Vote FOR SHELLY
With Vegas going downhill fast, its time for a change. And Wegner is the one who can do it. We should stop giving our hard earned taxes away to illegals.
