That "Wally Mail" post sure worked fast.
Sources are telling me that Asy. Susan Gerhardt was absent from the Assembly Caucus fundraiser last night. "Curiously absent" was the exact wording.
Could this reinforce my call from a few weeks ago that she switches over and runs against Heck 4 Senate 5?

Perfect. LJ might as well
Perfect. LJ might as well be working for the Republicans.
For those not keeping score, this would guarantee the loss of AD29 while doing absolutely nothing positive for SD5 (Heck is simply not beatable). Add to this no announced candidates in AD5 or AD13, a weak candidate in AD23 (but no apparent opposition so we may skate by there), a needless primary in AD21 and a retread in AD2.

Thanks for the feedback, Rebel. You raise some valid points about what can be seen as missed recruitment opportunities, but there are always missed recruitment opportunities. I still wonder why anyone in their right mind would run for the legislature. Oh, wait, I forgot. Ego. Even with an imperfect recruitment year, LJ shaping up to have one heck of a sweep. That's without beating Heck, and I think any Republican is beatable this year. Have you seen those reg numbers?
