Ozark: a conservative campaign that can plan a great bachelor party

It is almost painful to see newcomers to the political process screw up, especially when it is before they even start the campaign.

Jon Ozark is announcing today that he will be challenging incumbent GOP Assemblyman Bob Beers in District 21 because “people are yearning for bolder leadership” and he promises his leadership to be “more conservative.”

However, both of his releases have been sent out by Johnny Theiss, who includes this e-mail signature that isn’t exactly subtle:

We journalists are lazy, but it doesn’t take much effort to click on a website and see that his campaign team can do more than just send out press releases.  They can offer bachelor party planning where “the possibilities are endless.”  I don’t think that he’s referring to the personalized luxury towels that they sell.

If you click on the “our buzz” page, you’re greeted by a shirtless girl covering her bosom with a hand towel bearing the company website address.  On this page, the company promotes that their concierge packages start at $1,500 a night and can include “masseuses or anything else the purchaser desires.”

The website continues with "As much or as little as the customer wants us to do, we do it," Johnny said.  That’s the same Johnny sending out press releases for a candidate calling himself a conservative.  I’m really not making this stuff up.

Mr. Theiss, try gmail.  It’s free, has unlimited storage, and then you’re not linking your not-so-conservative business to Mr. Ozark’s supposedly conservative campaign.  You hit us in the face with that signature line, twice.  We had to go there.

All of this with Ozark being bold about labeling himself a conservative and touting his Wharton school credentials.  In my book that makes him the dumbest smart guy running for Assembly 21 this year.

If he wins, at least Fran Allen will have someone to party with.

He's not a newcomer, Wally.

He's not a newcomer, Wally. He ran two years ago in AD10.

Point taken, Steve.

But at my age, that's still a newcomer.

Thanks for reading.

Ozark's associations

I have to assume that young Ozark doen't have a clue and is merely doing what he is told. Why else would he carpetbag into my district after the shellacking Hogan gave him in the last campaign? We have 15 counties with legal brothels in Nevada, and he has to associate with a business running illegal brothels. Seems he and Dario have much in common. It would be interesting to check with a few of the limo drivers on what Mr. Theiss also supplies for the right price.
