Brower confirmed as U.S. Attorney
By Wally EdgeFormer GOP Assemblyman Greg Brower has been confirmed as the new U.S. Attorney for Nevada. He fills the spot held by Daniel Bogden, one of eight attorneys sacked last year in the Justice Department scandal that contributed to the downfall and eventual resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.
Brower was recommended for the position by GOP Senator John Ensign, and was supported for confirmation by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
