My esteemed colleague Anjeanette Damon received a bit of a chewing from conservative lobbyist Paul Enos in his defense of the Governor.
Read all about it on her blog:

Short version for the lazy people:
Damon called out the Governor on leaving the health crisis hearing after his short remarks. Enos countered that he could have watched from his office and that his intent may have been to not draw attention away from the real issue.
Enos also said that if the Governor can’t remove doctors from the board, then who can? I give him a solid “A” on performance on this one, as he took what was a beating on the Governor and pulled it to at least a draw on the show.
I still disagree with Paul Enos on this one. This was politically motivated and bad public policy. The doctors recused themselves, and the conflict should have ended there. Anything more implies wrongdoing on the part of these doctors, and there is no proof of wrongdoing.
But this was arguably the best defense of the Governor that we’ve seen to date, especially given the fact that he didn’t have much of a leg to stand on. Kudos to Mr. Enos.
