Registration surge continues

The R-J resident political guru Molly Ball has a pair of articles showing just how deep that voter registration hole is for the GOP.

For the lazy:

The first story is her political notebook, where she gives the big, ugly number that even GOP Executive Director Zac Moyle can't spin: 55,560. That's the new voter registration advantage that the Democrats hold statewide, which is a 6 point change from the last presidential race.

The second piece tells the behind-the-scenes story about how this is happening. ACORN, one left-leaning independent group, has already claimed to have signed up 60,000 new voters.

Looks like the Nevada GOP will need a swift boat to catch up on this.
