Hillary Clinton (D-NY) wrapped up her primary campaign in Nevada Friday night with a rally at Greenspun Junior High School in Henderson.  Clinton spoke for half an hour before the overflow crowd, repeating many of her policy proposals and taking at least one veiled swipe at her leading primary opponent Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), whom she did not mention by name.

With the Nevada caucuses only hours away, Clinton remains locked in a tight race with Obama and former N.C. Sen. John Edwards for the state’s 33 delegates to the Democratic National Convention in August.

Time for a tax hike?

An interesting thing about being too good at something: it can come back to bite you.

For over seven years now President George W. Bush has led Republicans on a tax cutting spree. Using the same kind of "If it moves shoot it" thinking that landed Vice President Dick Cheney in a bit of a roil, they have handed down a significant series of tax cuts that have left Democrats with little choice but to stand aside and smile. But has their success come back to haunt them?
