In a follow up to textgate going international, Reuters has picked up the story of the Shady Lady Ranch giving out $50 gas vouchers for anyone purchasing $300 or more in "services."

The ranch may be giving more bang for the buck by helping ease that pain at the pump, but our national press continues to troll along the bottom.

Nevada seems to be on a roll with painful national press. Just after that report last week about Nevada schools finishing dead last nationwide and the international coverage of Textgate, we now have a two-fer on brothel coverage.

Newsweek has a story about the brothel business hitting hard times, and at the Shady Lady Ranch outside of Beatty, they are handing out $100 gas cards for every $500 in "services" that are purchased.

USA Today is reporting that students from an American Culture class at Randolph College have chosen a field trip to our very own Chicken Ranch brothel as the capstone of their course.

Past trips have included post-Katrina New Orleans and Walt Disney World.  Yes, we just mentioned Walt Disney World and the Chicken Ranch brothel in the same post.  This really is the best job on earth.
