Is Ross Miller really neutral?

Secretary of State Ross Miller, viewed as a potential Democratic candidate for Governor in 2010, pledged not to endorse any candidate in the Nevada Democratic Caucuses next week. But now, some Democratic insiders are questioning his neutrality. Miller been making kind comments toward Hillary Clinton with increased frequency, and there are reports that he will make an appearance with the New York Senator. His wife is a Clinton supporter, and his father, former Governor Bob Miller, is a Clinton contributor.

These days, Miller is the #2 dynasty in Nevada politics: first are the Reid’s, and while Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has not made any endorsements, his son, Clark County Commission Chairman Rory Reid, has been one of Clinton’s most visible and hardworking supporters.

And don't be surprised if some local Clinton supporters hold a grudge against Miller for not taking sides.  After all, Miller was a White House Intern while Bill Clinton was President.

Ross Miller has no chance in 2010

" . . . viewed as a potential Democratic candidate for governor in 2010." Not a chance. How old will Ross Miller be in 2010 - 32 or 33? Nevadans are too wise in the post-Dario Hererra era to elect someone so young and unseasoned to an office of that magnitude. To be elected Secretary of State is one thing; it is entirely another to be a viable gubernatorial candidate. Ross Miller may eventually have his day, but I think he (and the entire Miller political machine) are too smart to risk a big loss at such an early stage of his political career. If Dems put Ross Miller up as their candidate for Governor in 2010, it will be as good as handing Jim Gibbons another term.

Prince Miller

Prince Ross Miller will issue a decree from his new throne declaring that the common folk were illegal and foolish in passing this petition twice. He will bestow his wisdom upon us by saying that State Supreme court was ignorant in their ruling and that ruling caused the petitions to be invalid.

All hail the almighty all knowing Prince Ross Miller.

May our new prince and king, Miller and Reid, continue their rule over the common stupid citizens.

I am hoping that new Royalty will declare that all democratic processes be declared null and void.

Perhaps, they should also do away with other pesky things like the right to free speech and the right to vote.

Think you Miller. May you continue to grace us with your excellence.
