NO LOVE IN THIS REVOLUTION

After my reflections on the Romney campaign, I think t's important to show that I'm an equal opportunity offender. And our second place finisher in Nevada is looking to stir the pot this spring at the Clark County and State GOP conventions in some newsworthy ways.

A letter recently went out from the local campaign reps to the delegates suggesting some cloak-and-dagger tactics that aim to confuse and misdirect the delegate process.

Have a read:

From your Clark County campaign team:

Greetings Paul supporters statewide! Thank you for all you have done over the last months!

Now is the time to play smart. Politics is politics and, however distasteful you may find it, we need to remain strong and united.

Over the next couple of weeks, you may receive a call asking you if you are a Ron Paul delegate, please do not respond in the affirmative. Pick another candidate or pick no one.

If you receive such a call, after you provide your response (as a delegate or alternate from another candidate), hang up and call headquarters at 702-430-1407 and make sure we know you're a Ron Paul delegate.

As you may have seen from some of our most recent press releases and stories, there were some 'peculiarities' in the caucus process. We worked hard, but we are playing in the big leagues and we need to us our head. We are going to feel the entire weight of the establishment when they pull out every argument in an attempt to persuade us to support another candidate.

Additionally, please do not post your delegate status or delegates from your precincts to the meetups. We are preparing training for you and we will share more with you shortly.

If we can identify all of our delegates and keep the other campaigns from doing so, we have a good chance of winning at the convention, even with superior numbers against us. If we allow our number and dentity to be known, we can be circumvented. Roberts rules and parliamentary process - study up! We're coming to see you shortly.

I have no doubt that all seven Ron Paul supporters will be well organized for the Clark County GOP Convention. But we have heard horror stories about the massive numbers of Ron Paul people taking over the process for months now, and I just don't buy it. They couldn't even manage to get their guy elected to Clark County GOP Chair when running against multiple candidates that split the mainstream vote. It's tough to do when your statewide base of support will all fit in a 30' Winnebago.

And think of the psychological struggle: that was the level of support when they thought they had a chance to win here. It will take a lot of smoke and mirrors on the part of the staff to convince these folks that they should still fight and that there is any chance to win this thing or even matter. Mostly because there isn't.

And the line about election day 'peculiarities' is just plain funny. Romney beat you almost 4 to 1, guys. Nevada was your Iowa, and a distant second got you zero earned media.

Sorry to break it to you, but the revolution is dead.

Making statements does not

Making statements does not make them true. "The revolution is over".

Prove it.

Or just accept these statements because I make them: "The sun goes around the earth." "You wear sunglasses." Go on, think up a few more. Make some more statements.

Also called 'spewing more crap and calling it journalism'.

Wally, Let's all hope, for

Wally,

Let's all hope, for the sake of all that made America great, for the Constitution that protects the people's freedoms, for liberty, limited government, and this shaky economy... let's hope (and PRAY!) that the ideas Ron Paul has steadfastly fought for decades for, is NOT "dead."

The tba "March on Washington" will require more than "one winnebago" because there are hundreds of thousands who still believe in freedom and the constitutionally-limited role of the Federal Government.

This is about much more than one man's love for his country. Ron Paul has earned the support, and respect, of so many for being a lone voice of reason in Congress, for fighting the good fight consistently and constitutionally.

We love him because the lobbyists hate him!

Ron Paul really got to you, apparently...

Ron Paul really got to you, apparently... your words are full of frustation and anger.

I suppose we are guilty as charged - ok, ok I confess... please don't tase me bro!

We may appear to be small in numbers, and in some cases we are. But we are also just people... trying to get involved in promoting traditional conservatism and the constitution.

How horrible is that?

propaganda

Wally,
You're propaganda IS not going to bring the Ron Paul American to His/Her knee's...

I am continually amazed by the complete bastardization of the press, in regards to the people who support Congressman Ron Paul.

Just one question, do you believe in the US CONSTITUTION?

Irony incarnate

Wow, and they say the Ron Paul people are deluded!

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.

How does it feel to know

you're a wretch, barking like a moron for the wrong side of History?

Which came first, the chicken or the dregs?

Looks like you wrote this before getting the actual quotes.

When asked about the authenticity of the e-mail the local campaign reps said "___________________"(quote verifying e-mail.) And as expected, the Nevada GOP is none too pleased. Chair Sue Lowden said "____________" (quote saying that Ron Paul's guys are a bunch of thugs and won't follow tradition or protocol)

Revolution

The revolution is not about Ron Paul. It is about restoring the Constitution as the document that defines our government. Currently the Majority vote defines our government, and this must change. The revolution will never die. One man with courage is the majority. I am one man with courage and will fight for the rest of my life to restore the Republic that our founding fathers created. The greatest study in governments and despotism created the greatest country to ever exist. I love this country and have studied the not only the founding fathers, but their reasoning behind creating the constitution. I believe that we have drifted way off course. The Constitution was meant to empower the people by limiting the power of our government. The founding fathers were very explicit on this point. They were also very scared of a pure democracy without rule of law. This is what we have if we ignore the Constitution. As far as the Constitution is concerned, if it is outdated amend it. Why do people think that we have to ignore it because it is outdated. I really wish that more people would educate themselves in regards to the foundation of this country.

Please disregard any spelling errors. I am consistantly writing now days and do not have time to proof read everything. Thank You

Rock and Roll!

Guys, I wish you luck!
With the massive disorganization of the GOP Caucus and the real possibility that most Romney people will not be showing up, I bet you can do it!

If you don't pull it off for some reason, how about coming over to Obama with the rest of us who love our Constitution?

There is a Liberal in every Libertarian, after all.
