Nevada Democratic Party Chairman Sam Lieberman issued the following statement today on news that Robert Daskas, a Democratic candidate for Congressional District 3, has decided to drop out of the race for personal reasons:
"We are sorry to hear that Robert Daskas has decided not to run for Congressional District 3," Lieberman said. "Robert would have made an excellent candidate and member of Congress. Senate Minority Leader Dina Titus has the track record, the experience and the know-how to serve Nevadans well in Congress, and has proven she can win this District."
Congressional District 3 now has a 22,500 Democratic advantage in voter registration.
