Former Vermont Governor and now Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean tried to register young voters in Nevada Wednesday morning according to the Associated Press.
Dean was in Las Vegas at the University of Nevada where he addressed a group of about 100 young people. He said the race between Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is a "generational election" and an opportunity to vote for a candidate who represents the future.
Dean, a former presidential candidate himself was in Las Vegas on behalf of a DNC voter registration bus tour.
