LVRJ: Romney coming to Silver State for McCain

The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney is coming to Nevada to stump for presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

The paper says Romney -- a former McCain rival during the Republican primary -- is scheduled to hold a rally for the Arizona senator at Henderson Pavilion next Wednesday before hosting a fundraising dinner for the state Republican Party.

Romney won the Nevada caucus in January and performed well in many western states. He has been the subject of a lot of speculation as a possible running mate for McCain.

He's also scheduled to appear in Denver on Tuesday to anchor a GOP opposition rally during the Democratic National Convention.

Mitt for Veep!

Romney is the perfect fit for VP, and will help McCain win states that Mitt won or placed highly in. Nevermind the Huckabee nonsense that evangelical Christians won't vote for Mitt, that's sour grapes and frankly embarrassing to me as a Christian. I'm conservative, devoted to God, and I think Mitt is the right man for the ticket. His economic expertise, success dealing with challenges like the Olympics, etc. He's fantastic! He's the only VP that can fire up the conservative base and give us a reason to vote FOR McCain...we aren't content to be asked to just vote AGAINST Obama. Give us a reason, John, pick MItt! MCCAIN-ROMNEY 08 ALL THE WAY!

VOTE FOR ME

I'm Mike Huckabee. I lost 100 pounds praying, my son tortured a dog, and I'll be madder if Romney is VP than I was the time I got caught banging my cousin. Remember, even though I dropped out of the theological seminary for bigots, and Romney went to Harvard and made almost a $1 billion pre-tax dollars, I'm smarter and . . . most importantly, I'm a Christian and Romney is a cultist. God told me this when he put that cross in my TV commercial.
